Lyts Mar Krigel: precision and plenty of fun Young drivers

For the various carriage teams to drive through the hall as if it were second nature, routes, distances and pace have to be perfectly coordinated. Every turn has to be spot on, every crossing has to happen at exactly the right moment. The young drivers carry a lot of responsibility: for their ponies, the carriages and the whole team.

What looks so light and playful during the show is the result of intensive rehearsal. The children learn to concentrate, think ahead and communicate sensitively with their ponies. At the same time, they discover how important trust, reliability and practising together are.

But for all that concentration, there is certainly no shortage of fun. Rehearsals are full of laughter and teamwork, and of course plenty of time spent with the ponies.

For the children, it is a special experience: varied, educational and sometimes simply more fun than a day at school.

This young driving club shows what young people can achieve with courage, enthusiasm and good preparation. We are already looking forward to seeing them back in the show as part of ‘It Hynder fan Harich’.
